Aucentra is thrilled to announce the appointment of John de Groot, MD, to our Scientific Advisory Board.
Dr de Groot specializes in the treatment of patients with brain tumors, including glioblastomas and other gliomas. He is recognized for his expertise in immunotherapy and molecularly targeted therapy. He has recently been appointed Chief of Neuro-Oncology division at the University of California San Francisco.
Prior to this appointment, Dr de Groot served as Director of clinical research in neuro-oncology and interim Chair of the department of neuro-oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has also contributed to the development of new therapies from the laboratory to patients.
